Sizes
Standard roll-up sizes
Most roll-up banners are 200 cm high; the width is what changes. These are the common standard sizes:
| Size (W × H) | Best for |
|---|---|
| 60 × 160 cm | Counters and small booths |
| 85 × 200 cm | The standard size: exhibitions, shop entrances, events |
| 100 × 200 cm | More space for product photos |
| 120 × 200 cm | Large booths and stage sides |
| 150 × 200 cm | Backdrop-style use, photo walls |
Artwork
Set up the file correctly
- Design at the exact size (for example 850 × 2000 mm), or at 1:10 scale.
- Images at 150 dpi or more at full size.
- Colours in CMYK; ask for the exact brand colour if it matters.
- Text converted to outlines, and the file saved as PDF.
- Keep the bottom 10–15 cm free of important content: it sits inside the base.
Layout
What people read in 3 seconds
- Logo at the top, at eye level.
- One headline of 3–6 words.
- One strong image.
- Contact: website, phone or QR code, in the middle third.
If the banner is for an exhibition, check the organiser's rules on stand height and branding first.
Stand types
Standard, premium or double-sided
| Type | What it is | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Aluminium base with a printed PVC or polyester graphic | Short events, giveaways, tight budgets |
| Premium (wide base) | Heavier base, more stable, smoother roll mechanism | You will reuse it many times or move it often |
| Double-sided | Printed on both sides, two graphics in one base | It stands in the middle of a space or a walkway |
| Replacement print | New graphic only, fitted to your existing stand | The stand is fine but the design has changed |
Matt materials photograph better under exhibition lights than glossy ones, which reflect.
Care
Make a roll-up last
- Roll it back slowly and keep the bag closed when you move it.
- Do not leave it outdoors in wind or direct sun for long periods.
- Wipe the print with a dry cloth; avoid solvents.
- Keep the spare top pole in the bag.
A good stand outlives several graphics, so ask for a replacement print instead of a full new banner when your offer changes.
